At one time (about 15 years ago), a user with the nickname Leardjet45 complained about the lack of Jet-A1 aviation fuel in almost all regular airports of the good old Microsoft Flight Simulator X. I decided to fix this error along with the size of the runway and equipment for blind landing. This pack contains 74 airports in the state of Colorado obtained by editing the state airports. Perhaps, such a modification even exists in reality. In any case, no one denies the existence of an American-Japanese Honda Jet (this cute business plane is assembled at the production facilities of Honda Aircraft, located in Greensboro, North Carolina).
Initially, the Honda Jet was developed to replace the Beechcraft Super King Air 350 turboprop and therefore has the same takeoff and landing characteristics and the same price at a significantly higher speed and range. And the Honda Jet XRS in terms of its takeoff and landing characteristics is almost identical to the piston Beechcraft B58 Baron or the turboprop Cessna 208 - the only differences are in the absence of thrust reversing and only 5 knots more safe speed in the glide path (95 knots versus 90 knots for the Beechcraft B58 Baron). This was made possible by the increased width of the wing (which provides a stable glideslope at a lower speed) and more powerful Honda HF120B engines with a maximum static thrust of 2850 lbf; By the way, the reversing of the thrust of the new engines had to be abandoned due to its lack of demand on the ground (at a touch speed of 85 knots, the reverse doors will not even have time to fully open to a speed of 60 knots, and the use of the reverse is prohibited below this speed). The Boeing-737 family is recognized as the most successful commercial project of Boeing Aircraft Corporation in the history of purely passenger medium-haul aviation. This is facilitated by a twin-engine scheme, good active safety, high structural strength (at least one case of an emergency landing of a decrepit 737-200 of Aloha Airwawes, Flight 243 with a partially torn off top of the passenger cabin - and this is after this aircraft made 25 thousand short accident-free flights over Hawaii!), good maneuverability (inexperienced pilots often landed the Boeing - 737-400 entrusted to them with a significant deviation in course and altitude, discovered their mistake already at the visual stage of the approach and managed to turn the liner to a safe trajectory in a very steep turn with a 40-degree roll), improved efficiency and the ability to safely land even on very short unpaved runways less than 1350 feet long (Boeing - 737-300, TAСA Airlines, Flight 110).

A small edit to the stock 747-400 from Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Accseleration. All four mighty engines received new compressors with an increased bypass ratio, thanks to which they have less suffocation at altitudes of more than 30 thousand feet and now naturally hold our liner at altitudes FL370-390; unfortunately, the same modernization entailed a decrease in the flight range, which is now 7325 nautical miles with fuel remaining for another 1 hour of flight. For comparison: the original 747-400 model from Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Accseleration had a significantly lower altitude (the service ceiling was limited to FL370), but a significantly longer flight range (10,000 nautical miles versus 7325 nautical miles); however, it was also more difficult to tear this beauty away from the runway.
Features of the takeoff of the upgraded 747-400: flaps in the 5/10 degree position (runway 9800+ feet long and standard atmosphere/runway 8800 feet long/standard atmosphere/runway 9800+ feet in the heat), elevator trim in the +4.5 degree position on ascent, the need to monitor the exhaust temperature during the takeoff run (EGT on any of the engines should not exceed 599 degrees Celsius; a higher temperature will burn the engine in the literal sense of the word). The history of the creation of this aircraft dates back to the mid-1930s. At that time, America had recovered from the effects of the Great Depression and had recovered to the point where there was a proposal to create a small twin-engine amphibious seaplane that could carry 4-6 passengers around New York City with the same level of comfort that had been achieved in the legendary Douglas DC-2, but still operate from shorter runways that could only be successfully landed by light and simple training Piper J-3 Cub. For flight safety, the Grumman Goose G21 was equipped with an avionics system from the Douglas DC-2, and wealthy passengers had access to a full-fledged kitchen with the most modern equipment from the mid-1930s and a full-fledged toilet with running water, borrowed from the same Douglas DC-2. Incredibly high (for such a rather weighty machine) takeoff and landing characteristics were provided by a pair of 9-cylinder Pratt & Whitney R-985 Twin Wasp turbocharged medium-pressure cylinder arrangements. The maximum power of each engine was 450 hp, and the large area of the wing and horizontal tail created lift already at a speed of 70 mph (113 km/h), which was achieved in 10-15 seconds after releasing the brakes when both engines were operating in takeoff mode, while flaps were not required for takeoff from the word "absolutely". The organization of the water steering surfaces is also interesting: the Grumman Goose G21 steers on the water surface with the help of an extended wheeled landing gear, which must be released after the instrument speed drops below 40 mph and removed before starting a run-up on the water. Specifically, the Grumman Goose G21A differs from its worthy parent in that it has enlarged fuel tanks that hold 340 gallons (1,312 liters) of gasoline (the original model had only 95 gallons of fuel), which increased the range to 1,300 nautical miles (2,408 km); During World War II, this feature allowed the converted Grumman Goose G21A to be used effectively as anti-submarine patrol aircraft along with the legendary PBY Catalina. Anyone, who has tried to fly the standard C182 from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, knows firsthand about its oakiness in terms of take-off and landing characteristics. What's funny is that, this oakiness is not reflected in any way in the RLE that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 provides us with for the Cessna 182 model. I was able to correct the take-off and landing characteristics of the Cessna 182S Skyline, bringing them to full compliance with its own RLE from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, and as a side effect I received increased cruising speed and range. The legendary Mooney M20 began mass production in the mid-1950s as a transitional link from the slow-moving Cessna 152/172 to the high-speed Beechcraft B-58 Baron. The aircraft went through several deep modifications: engine replacement (10 copies were produced with a Porsche aircraft engine, and later the original weak 180-horsepower four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine was replaced by a six-cylinder turbocharged engine with an official power output 270 hp), a change in the design of the fuselage (since 1972, the Mooney M20 received an all-metal duralumin fuselage instead of a wooden one), which increased its strength, and since 1990, all new Mooney M20s are equipped with a pressurized cabin and an air conditioning system, which allows them to rise above the weather and avoid icing in clouds (Admittedly, this is a very reasonable upgrade, since the limited weight and size of the aircraft do not allow it to be equipped with a full-fledged anti-icing system). The Airbus A321 is a further development of the A320 and a direct competitor to the legendary Boeing - 757. It also has a fly-by-wire control system, but accommodates more passengers (185 in a two-class configuration), flies further and higher. The control system leaves its mark on the style of control of the A321: despite the weight comparable to the Boeing - 757-100, the liner is distinguished by a faster reaction to sidestick movements during cruise flight, which requires special care from its pilots. Another feature of the A321 control system is the active participation of the on-board computer in aircraft control; by default, the computer takes over control from the pilots after retracting the landing gear and reaching an airspeed of 200 knots, setting the PB trimmers to the neutral position, and can also engage the autothrottle and accelerate the aircraft from landing speed to cruising if the pilot has released the flaps to position 3, but did not release the chassis. However, this "rebellion of the machines" can be prevented by simply disabling the automatic course-pitch correction system before takeoff (ELAC 1, SEC 1 and FAC 1 buttons) and then calmly control the liner until you want to turn on the autopilot. This simple upgrade proved to be commercially successful despite a short range of 1,000 nautical miles; profits from the mass sale of Beechcraft King Air 350 converted into passenger versions allowed the engineers of the Hawker Beechcraft Company to order new economical turboprop engines from Pratt & Whitney, supplemented by more high-torque propellers, which reduced the takeoff and landing distance, increased cruising speed and returned almost the original flight range (1700 nautical miles). compared to 1850 nautical miles for the business version with four fuel tanks). The actual Mooney M20Bravo has a slightly smaller fuel capacity than its trainer model, and I've fixed that bug. The maximum payload from this has not changed much, but it has become more fun to take off. The advantages of Mooney Bravo for FSX-2006/2007 are the improved visualization that renders the pressurized cabin, and the implemented automatic cross-feeding of fuel from two tanks at the same time, which greatly simplifies the piloting of this handsome man with a symmetrically distributed load. The set of cabins includes both the usual analog and the modern "glass" Garmin-1000. It is especially valuable that this entry-level business jet is fully compatible with Lockheed-Martin Prepar 3D v.4 (I personally checked it). Of the features of the automatic cross-fuel supply, I note that in the 3D cockpit it works with the central fuel valve blocked when the engine is started on the ground; if you can't resist and start the engine according to the Mooney M20Bravo control card, which recommends manually controlling the fuel supply, then you will then have to play with the central fuel valve for the entire flight in order to maintain an acceptable lateral balance of the aircraft.
