The book describes in detail our country's cooperation with Germany in the field of aviation and aeronautics. Covers the period from the beginning of the XIX century (an attempt to create a controlled balloon to fight Napoleon's army) to the late 40's - early 50-ies of XX century, when delivered to the USSR, the German engineers and scientists built for the Soviet Air Force jet aircraft and engines.
