This BOEING 747-200B ALITALIA is a complete remake of my previous 747 released last year, with a near photographic main panel and a fully photographic F/E panel. For FS 2002 Pro, to be displayed at 1024x768 resolution.
Almost all gauges have been expressely created by myself with continuous reference to an official panel layout and very few are custom and default gauges.
So no more need to have FS2000 Concorde.gau.
Some gauges and switches, mainly in the F/E panel  are just there to reproduce the reality, but they do not work. For the others, try to wander with your mouse to discover their operation.

INSTALLATION
============
Installation is quite straight forward:
 
Step 1-   Backup the original 'panel.cfg'  and place the whole contents of the enclosed 'Panel.zip' you just downloaded in the Panel folder of the selected aircraft.
Step 2-   Place the whole contents of the enclosed 'Gauges747.zip' in the main fs2k2 'Gauge' folder.
Step 3-  Create a subfolder in the main fs2k2 'Gauge' folder and call it 'rcb-gauges': in this subfolder extract the full contents of the enclosed rcb-gauges.zip.
Step 4-  Place the whole contents of the enclosed 'Sounds747.zip' in the main fs2k2 'Sound' folder.
Step 5-  Extract the FSSound.dll into the FS2002 Modules folder. If you already have a later version of this .dll keep it, otherwise overwrite when prompted.

I recommend to download Project Opensky's packages 'os742alitalia02.zip' or 'osb747-200_alitalia_cargo.zip'  aircrafts, even if the front view of the engine nacelles are completely transparent (I mean no engine inside, at least on my system), or use any other B747 you may have in your aircraft folder. I'm actually using the B747-400 from MelJet 'mj744it.zip' which is a repaint in Alitalia livery of the default 747, even if Alitalia never had this version of the aircraft. You can also use any heavy four engine jet aircraft.

TIPS
====
Please note that most of the FS2002 aircrafts have the [Radio] Section in the 'aircraft.cfg' set for Standby frequencies available in COM and in both NAV radios. In order to have the COM and Nav frequencies selection work in this panel you must change the second digit of COM and both Nav's to read 0 and not 1 after backing up the original if you want:

NOTE 3
----------
One very interesting feature enclosed in this panel is an FMC gauge providing lots of useful flight informations and aural calls, like i.e. actual A/c weights in Lbs.,T/O and LDG Speeds, gear, flap positions calls and so on. It can be displayed by clicking over the little red button 'FMC' placed just below the autopilot panel. This window shows  several types of A/c's at each click, starting from the A300 and sorted alphabetically by type; just remember TO CHOOSE THE B747-200 A/c: selecting this aircraft, the figures and calls  seem to work well enough.
All the  .wav files needed for this feature (beginning with 'TC_xxxx.wav') are enclosed in the sounds747.zip of this package.

WARNING: IF YOU DON'T SELECT THE CORRECT TYPE OF AIRCRAFT YOU'LL GET WRONG FIGURES AND/OR CALLS!
