Original model & repaint by Jean Marie Mermaz (e-mail: [email protected]). The Agusta Bell AB-47G is one of the most popular helicopters in the history of rotary aviation. The Agusta Bell AB-47G helicopters entered in service of Hellenic Air Force in 1971. They used to operate as VIP transporters, as liasons, as agricaltural field spraying devices, as trainers or even as ambulances. They were painted with bright red & white or light blue & white pattern. Some of them was equiped with flotters for easy landings on the sea surface. Today, some of them are resting at the Hellenic Air Force museum. This repaint version has been specifically created as an honor to the 359th Sqdr of Hellenic Air Force with an utility role (VIP airborne transportation, agricaltural field spraying, aerial photo shooting etc.)
