This is Eastern Airlines N86516 (c/n 2043) textures for Manfred Jahn's Lockheed L-049 and L-749 Connie. In 1956 and 57, EAL leased 10 L-049's from TWA for a period of six months or so. Although they were leased, EAL painted these beauties in full livery. They are they only connies to serve in the EAL fleet with the white tops until the "Super G" came along some time later.
