Background

I am very proud to present this Project Airbus (pa321) Airbus A321-231 in the US Airways NC livery.  This was the 2nd A321-231 acquired by US Airways and is 1 of 20 A321-231's in US Airways A321 fleet. It was delivered new to the airline in December of 2008 and bears registration N508AY. The A321 is the medium-haul workhorse for US Airways and flies into most major US airports serviced by US Airways including; KCLT, KPHX, KLAX, KSFO, KORD, KMCO, KSAN among others. The A321's also do service Caribbean destinations for US Airways as well. This is a detailed repaint with custom textures. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality.

Installation Instructions:

This is a complete install. The Project Airbus A321-231 model and air files are included. The panel and sound are from the default 737-400, but if you read below, I have some recommendations for a A32x panel and IAE soundset. Unzip this package directly into your Aircraft folder. It will create a subfolder named \Project Airbus A321-231_USA_N508AY.  When you start FS, look for the new aircraft under the manufacturer Airbus-Project Airbus, a type of A321-231 and variation of 'US Airways NC (N508AY)'.

Undoubtedly the most outstanding, detailed and realistic Airbus A320 freeware panel available is by Ken Mitchell. To get it, you will need the following files at AVSIM.COM:

 - ab320km_panel.zip
 - km320upd.zip

Oh yes, if you want the updated square LCDs on you A320 panel, I suggest you get the updated Ken Mitchell panel. It replaces the above panel, so you only need this package if you prefer the newer square LCD displays. Here's the filename on AVSIM:

There are several, but a soundset I suggest is the IAE V2500 Sounds For The A320 Family (Version 2) by Emil Serafino Jr. This chap does great work. They are for the Airbus A32x with the IAE V2500 engines. To get them, download the following file at AVSIM.COM:
