Approach should be flown at around 45 knots, touchdown speed is around 26-30 knots and she can be slowed right down to a safe 30 knots for those low, slow fly-bys.\n\nShutting down the engine (by hitting the switch on the panel) will allow you to autorotate down to a gentle landing.  The rotors will stop turning when you come to a halt.
