There are a few texture files for the 1st version of the SMS www.Overland.co.jp
MD-11 available on the web that are compatiblie or close to compatible with the version 2 wit
Virtual cockpit. Very minor changes were made to the nose painting from the version 1
for FS2002 of the previously painted MD-11 from Overland Simmer's sky.

The website made the Version 2 available earlier this year at: WWW.OVERLAND.CO.JP.
I've seen the Federal Express version which is downloadable and immediately 
upwardly compatible with version 2.

The version 2.0 was made available with very little fanfare and seemed to
miss the attention of the flight sim sites.  It is not difficult to repaint if you 
are so inclined, which I am.  I am contemplating repaints in the United livery, 
Northwest, Air Florida, National, the New Continental, Western,American (*If I can 
suffice the requirements), Pan American, Delta New Colors/old and new, new, ONA, Air New Zealand,
and Eastern.  Technically, only Delta and Northwest are actual operators of the MD-11;
the others are simply fictional renditions of previous DC-10 operating carriers.
I was able to secure repaint permission from the website and they seemed gracious in their
approval.  I believe that this amazing model and performing aircraft is available to 
those who wish to repaint, though I do not pretend to speak for the designers in Japan.
I think they will grant you approval if you request it.  I thank them for that permission.

If you downloaded the Continental old colors version, you might notice the lack of a 
repaint on the wings, showing Japan registration on the wing itself.  If you copy
the wings from this Delta texture file onto the Continental file for the wing, that
will no longer appear.

To install, unzip the contents of this file into your FS9 aircraft file.

Then, copy or move the gauge file to your FS9 gauges file.

If you already have the main SMS MD-11 V2 in your aircraft file, simply
copy the DAL texture file and make the following changes to the SMS MD-11's aircraft file:

where "X" is the next sequential number of the texture files in your SMS MD-11 version 2 
aircraft.cfg file.
