It might be an arresting fact that this aircraft was made in rivalry with Harrier on the west side. 
This aircraft seen the performance and low at the early stage also turns out a considerably efficient aircraft now. 
Shape is almost the same as a usual fighter. 
However, the conception that builds the engine for VSTOL into length is terrible. 
Desperate?
No. .......Though I think that it is a wonderful conception.........

It be only me that think it is more wonderful if the paint is refined more?
I want  someone to think about the repaint that is good-looking.

Yakovlev developed the Yak-38 based on Yak-36 V/STOL aircraft. 
Yak-38 was the first production vertical takeoff/landing aircraft built by the Soviet Union. 
Yak-38 was built to operate from the Soviet medium-sized Kiev class aircraft carriers. 
Two jet engines vertically installed behind the control seat generate the lift power. 
After the door equipped up and down is opened, these engines are worked. 
There are 16 air intakes that open with the spring in the door above. 
Another one turbo-jet engiine built into the body is generated in the cruise power. 
A total of about 230 aircraft were built.

[ About the installation ]

 The airframe must copy the \Yak-38 Forger-A folder as it is in the Aircraft folder of FS2002 or FS2004.

Flight Dynamics uses the same thing as Harrier. 
Therefore, an effect different from FS2002 appears in FS2004. 
Please do rename to "Aircraft.cfg" from "Aircraft_2K4.cfg" of the attachment and use in FS2004. 
The difference is only a description of the flap section.

Please copy all files in the \gauges folder onto the gauge in the Gauges folder of FS2002 or FS2004. 
 A general gauge is saved for the gauge bundled this time. 
 Beach_baron, EXTRA-300 ,GPS gauges are necessary besides the bundled gauge. 
 It is necessary to introduce no possession of these gauges separately.

 A special key operation is not used for this model. 

   Shift+E  = Canopy / WingFold open-shut
   F5 - F8  = VStol Nozzle / Foward Vstol Engine Door open-shut
              Air Intake open-shut

 All aircraft that I made are free software.

[ About the directions point in FS2004 ]

 This aircraft can be basically used also with FS2004 because it is made with FSDS Ver. 2.24 .
 However, the aerofoil tip might not be able to enter in the screen in the spot taking a picture view because of very wide the width of the aircraft.
 Please switch to the spot taking a picture view with other aircraft when this state happens seeming this as it is because the magnification switch of the spot taking a picture doesn't operate well. 
 Afterwards, if this aircraft is chosen by selecting the aircraft, it is sure to be displayed by a normal magnification.
