README for SEYCHELLES ISLANDS 2010

FOR MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR FSX

August 2010


Introduction

This scenery is a rebuild of my previous scenery for use in FSX. It includes the islands of Mahe, Fregate, Silhouette, North Island, St Anns and other islands surrounding Mahe.

I would like to eventually include the other outlying islands, but alas my real time work demands all my time and it is unlikely that this will happen soon.


SCENERY INSTALLATION

Installing my scenery should be very easy and will work if the following is carried out.


INSTALLATION

Step 1 – Unzip the files into a temporary directory. You should have a folder called Seychelles 2010 and within this will be the scenery and texture folders.

There is also a single bgl file called FSSF_ADEX_CAP_ALT.bgl.

Step 2 – Copy and paste the “Seychelles 2010” folder (with the “scenery” and “texture” folders within) into your “addon Scenery folder of FSX.

Step 3 – Copy and paste the FSSF_ADEX_CAP_ALT.bgl into the following folder of your main FSX installation…….Scenery/World/Scenery.

Step 4 - Start up FSX and using the scenery library, add the new scenery to your library. 

Step 5 – Exit FSX and then restart, waiting for the scenery library to be rebuilt.

Step 6 – Fly and hopefully enjoy the new version.
