The Texan 550 LSA is an Italian light sport aircraft with airframe, wings and control surfaces made of composite material. The low wing of rectangular shape use a laminar airfoil section. The ailerons are differential, while the flaps of plane type are operated electrically, the surface of the vertical tail fin is composed of a fixed part and a movable rudder, and the horizontal surface of the tail is completely mobile, hinged in its central part with integrated trim . The tricycle landing is fixed, with nosewheel steering.

The model has a 2d and 3d panel and can also be controlled only by the Virtual Cockpit, see the illustrations contained in the documents folder which show the panel in its current configuration.

Installation
***********************************************************************************
To install this model into FSX follow this simple procedure:

1) extract the here provided FS_Texan_FSX.zip file in a temporary folder. After extraction You'll find the Fly Synthesis Texan folder, with inside this text.

2) copy or move the Fly Synthesis Texan folder into your Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes folder.

3)Then launch FSX and you'll find three texture variation for the model listed in the Select aircraft window of the Free flight menu under Fly Synthesis as aircraft manufacturer.

4) That's all and have a good time!

5) Double check everything before e-mailing me! the most of problems I am asked to solve are due to not having read readme files!!

1) All procedures, including switching on and off the engine, are available
Knee-on Board (F10) as well as data characteristic of the plane.

2) A specific model version for FS2004 is also available.

I'm not very well versed with english so it is not always easy to write down these notes, so I have found in a freeware model from a famous Flight designer Tim Piglet Conrad the following note that reflect perfectly what I want to say about my works:

"This model was built to the best of my skills, knowledge, and simply to my own tastes and standards.
If something is "missing", or "wrong", oh well, you got it for a good price:-) For a one-man shop, I think I do pretty well:-p

 As for repaints, new versions, etc. I have no idea if, when, or what. So please, no "placing orders".

These files shouldn't harm your computer, but I accept no responsability for their use and effect.
Play with it,do repaints, give to friends or enemies, but do not make money off of it without my express approval. This also goes for any other peoples' files in this release.

 Also,if you want to re-post the plane, or its repaints, on your site, or another site, please ask me first:) I usually say yes, unless my plane  been too corrupted or hacked by you or others. 

I only upload my models to my web site and to Flightsim.com, and Simviation.com. If you find one of my planes anywhere else, I cannot guarantee its integrity. Whoever re-posted the plane might be better able to help you if you have any trouble, if he did any mods and left an e-mail addy
