Афкад военного аэродрома Воркута-Советский выполнен по строительным чертежам. МРД-2 не была достроена, осталась в стадии отсыпки гравием. Перрон должен был пролегать почти во всю длину ВПП. В афкаде присутствует только существующая на сегодняшний день северная часть перрона. Приводы имеются только при заходе курсом 190. С южной стороны, курсом 10, приводов нет.
