P3 Orion Sound Package Enhanced Version 2.0 (updated)

Flight tested and works in FSX (Service Pack 1)

Have NOT tested and DO NOT support FS2004


Whats New:

Prop Pitch sounds now match P3 Orion engine type (recorded from C-130 prop).

External Sounds extracted from L-188 Electra at idle or minimum throttle setting.

Modified external engine sound on throttle up.


Whats Fixed:

All sounds for engine can now be heard with environment volume turned back up.

Internal reverse thrust sound has been edited for a cleaner effect.

Sound package has been modified to be more download friendly.

Extra sound files removed that were'nt being used for aircraft's sound config.


Note: 	Before installing you can re-name your P3's current sound folder to e.g. "sound-backup" in case you want it backed up for future use.

	
Installation:

Copy enclosed sound folder in zip file and paste to P3's root directory.

Proper path to replace folder is posted below:


C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\P-3C_V29\sound


Usage:  To use the new prop pitch sounds while engines are on or started hit "Ctrl + F1" and then "Ctrl + F2" for the new sound. Then hit "Ctrl + F4" to return engine pitch to normal. Pitch sounds are best when used while taxing before and after takeoff. To use the reverse thrust sound hit and hold "page down" or "F2". Enjoy
