FS2004 WSK-PZL Mielec (Antonov) AN-2V

First appearing in 1947, the AN-2's was first dismissed as obsolete, due to it's biplane layout and homely looks. But the "Annushka" would prove the naysayers wrong.... and how! The biplane layout proved itself, and there wasn't much the AN-2 couldn't do, whether as a passenger, cargo, parachuting, crop spraying, or spec ops plane. Over 20,000 were produced, mostly in Poland. Not bad for an "obsolete" design! This version is the AN-2V Seaplane, origionally, designated AN-4. 


Installation:
Make new Folder in your  FS2004\Aircraft folder, label it AN-2V
After downloading the zip, locate it, using your Computer Explorer, Winfile, etc.  Double-click on it and extract the file to your AN-2V folder.Everything should end up in the right place/folder.

Copy the an2t_00, an2v_02, an2t_fan, and an2t_glass  textures from the texture folder to the texture.CCR and texture.EGCR folders. I did this to save on download file size.

Copy the gauges into your Sim's Gauges Folder. You may already have some of them, so you don't have to overwrite or reload them. Choice is yours.

Copy the GaugeSound.dll file into your FS Main Folder. Easygauge 2.0, what I used to make gau's, says this file is needed. If you already have one of my later planes, you most likely have this file already installed. 
SIM WILL CRASH IF NOT INSTALLED!

FS2004 AN-2T,V Panel Gauge Fix.
This HOW-TO file is to help users who are having problems with the  FS9 Default Gauges not showing up in my new AN-2T's or AN-2V's panel. 
To fix this, open up the default DC-3's Panel Folder, and locate the .cab file (icon may look like a little blue filing cabinet). Copy this file over to your FS9 gauges folder. You may have to re-name this .cab file to DC3Gauges!
 Now repeat this process with the Lockheed Vega. You should not have to re-name this file. Look in the panel.cfg file to see the proper names in case you have any trouble.

P.S. To help prevent future problems, you may want to go ahead and copy the .cab files of all the default panels.

Copy the fx_vclight_offwhi to your Sim's effects folder. 



NOTAMS:
In the plane selection menu, the AN-2V will be under WSK-PZL Mielec, so don't freak out if you can't find Antonov on the list:)

SHF e opens the passenger door. SHF e 2 opens the cargo door (default keymapping)

Should work in FS2002, but you can't modifly payload, just the fuel level.
  
If you fly the AN-2V in FS2002, you may want to install the FS2002 GPS into the panel.cfg file, replacing the FS2004 GPS entry. And replace all of the FS2004-only gauges
If you haven't already done so, copy over the textures as pointed out above! I don't want a bunch of e-mails:)

Included in this file is an2v_01mstr, an2v_03mstr, and an2v_04mstr. These are the master repaint tex's I used to make the different tex's. I will assume that if you do repaints, you know your way around a plane's texture and .cfg files. Remember, back up TWICE, change ONCE:)
